This is such a classic combo specimen from Otter Lake, Quebec, Canada. Calcium-rich Diopside forms in marbles (source of calcium!) & can be quite tough to find in large enough crystals to form a hand-sample. The green diopside & black biotite just pop against the whiter marble (calcite) matrix. I would love to find this one a new home. A great addition to any collection! Could be especially useful to teachers or students trying to rocks or who just want to be able to actually see clinopyroxene! Note that I will refund shipping overages on purchases of multiple items.
