With title beneath image Printed on matt paper of sturdy weight. Image on reverse. No show through. Cecil Keeling (1912-1976) studied at Putney School of Art & at Chelsea School of Art. He became a designer for the B.B.C. in 1937 & after wartime service, returned in the capacity of publicity department designer. He illustrated books using wood-engraving & coloured lithography for various publishers including for the Folio Society. He did commission work for advertising projects & further contributed pieces to many well known publications. Upon purchase we will mail in a protective clear casing backed by heavy weight recycled cardboard. It will be sent in stiff photo mailer envelope.
