A lovely pair of high quality miniature English sterling silver trophies. The front is engraved "Royal Colonial Institute United Empire" & features an insignia of British Union Jack flags surmounted by a crown. Each is fully hallmarked sterling silver. The total silver weight is 65 grams. Each trophy measures 3.5 inches high by 3 inches wide. A removable graduated wood plinth is included. The plinth has a diameter of 2.5 inches & is 1.25 inches high. The total height with plinth is 4.75 inches. There are a few small dents to body & one has a dent to the base. The form is Art Deco with delicate protruding double sided arms. Please review photos for further assessment. The Royal Colonial Institute was promulgated from 1870 to 1928. Today it is known as The Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS).
