These decorative milk jugs are skillfully carved from a single block of wood & feature repairs highlights in Tin. They have long been used by the Tutsi people of Rwanda & other nomadic groups in rural areas of Burundi, Kenya & Northern Tanzania. Their purpose was to carry milk, water, honey & even food. These can be used on a mantle, dry flower vase or just for pure decoration. The simplicity & functionality of the design, the authentic marks & wear are inherit elements that enhances their beauty. They can highlight any decor & serve as a wonderful conversation piece.
