All patches come with Industrial Strength "Iron-On" adhesive that's very easy to use. You can also stitch this on with a sewing machine (if you choose) or by hand. DO NOT USE STEAM DURING APPLICATION! Step 2: Place patch in the desired position & place a pressing cloth (such as a handkerchief, sheet or pillowcase fabric) over top. DO NOT use bare iron directly on patch or it will burn! Step 3: Press the iron straight down for 1-2 min. with as much constant pressure as possible. NO BACK & FORTH. Step 4: Turn the garment inside-out & repeat steps 2 & 3. Step 5: Let the patch cool & check if it's stuck. While you can wash items that have iron-on patches properly attached, care must be taken. Only wash in cold to lukewarm water & where possible, hand wash the item. If washing in the machine, only use the gentle cycle. Always turn the garment with the iron-on patch inside out when washing it. Try to keep washing to a minimum, to preserve the patch & if its edges fray a lot, you may need to trim them or even stitch them back down.
