Ultra cool mid century small metal sculpture or paperweight of a stylized cubist owl by Swedish sculptor Stig Blomberg (1901-1970). It is signed BLOMBERG on one side of the base. There is also small initials "HB" which after some research I found is because it was cast by Herman Bergman so his name was included on many of Blombergs pieces. The DN is for Dagens Nyheter, a daily newspaper in Sweden which is in the DN skyscraper or tower in Stockholm. So either for the paper or a souvenir for the skyscraper? It is small - only 3 3/4" high. Great vintage condition. Flat rate shipping fee listed is for continental US only & does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international.
