This is a beautiful antique Russian Orthodox Our Lady of Vladimir icon. This unique icon was handmade out of heavy over 9 oz solid tin with copper face. This technique is absolutely rare & time consuming. To the best of our knowledge the icon was made in the beginning of XX Century, circa 1920. The icon is in excellent condition. Size is 3.5 x 3.2 x 0.75" thick. The icon is set in wood frame & has a contemporary cardboard back.
