This is a vintage Ellgreave teapot from the 1950s. It was made in England. The brand Ellgreave was a child company of Wood & Sons, pottery & earthenware maker at Stoke-on-Trent, England. This teapot is made out of genuine ironstone. It features roses & other flowers, as well as a golden rim. It's a pretty shabby chic rose design. This vintage Wood & Sons Teapot holds 4 cups of water, tea, or hot cocoa. It would be a nice Mother's Day gift, a good item for a tea party with friends or for a baby shower party. This vintage Ellgreave teapot (Wood & Sons teapot) is in excellent vintage pre-loved condition. No crazing, no chips. It measures 9" wide & about 7" tall.
