Sterling Silver may have a slightly softer level of detail than gold or platinum in areas of high detail. This beautiful natural metal will develop a darkened antiqued patina over time if left to age naturally, or can be polished with a silver jewelry polishing cloth to return it to a bright white finish. - 10K GOLD is an alloy of pure gold & other metals consisting of 41.7% pure gold. It is a durable metal choice & budget friendly. It shows fine details very well. 10k Rose is most similar in appearance to 14k Gold. 10K White is very similar to 14k White when new, but will require periodic Rhodium plating to keep its pure white color or it will develop a warmer white color over time. 10k Yellow has a lovely but much paler yellow color when compared to 14k or 18k, so for that reason I only offer it by special request. - 14K GOLD is an alloy of pure gold & other metals consisting of 58.3% pure gold. It is a durable metal choice that is beautiful in all colors. It shows fine details very well. 14k Rose & 14k Yellow show their colors beautifully. 14k White will show the brightest white finish of the white gold options naturally, but periodic Rhodium plating will keep its pristine white
