Heljä Liukko-Sundström (simply HLS) is/was one of the best-known artists at Arabia, as she worked about five decades for Arabia Finland. HLS is a multi-talent person: except these fine naïve pictures she has authored books for children. For Iittala glassworks she has also designed paperweights. This picture, designed in 1993, is named Talvi tulee. It means Winter is Coming in English.
