The shiny dark black base makes the gold details op, & the motifs of book stands are really eye catching. I am puzzled about the age. Stickers & way of production suggest anything between 40-80s. So I have just gone with 80s, so I am not overpromising here. Made in metal with enamel/foil on top, which holds the decoration. Very nicely made.
