Our flat-packed wedding post box is designed in-house for easy assembly & convenient transport to your venue. Compared to our competitors, our standard size is considerably larger. See below for dimensions. Due to recent feedback, our postage is now default as Royal Mail 1st Class for UK customers. Royal Mail 2nd class is an option, it save £1 on delivery. We create each box to order, so it's fully customizable. You can choose anything from "01/01/2023" to "Wedding Post," or "Wedding Day" & even specify the crown design (such as an "&" sign or "heart"). We typically make the box within 24 hours of receiving your order, so please contact us ASAP if you need to make any changes. During the busy months April - September this can be 3-5 Days lead time, so we suggest ordering asap to ensure it's delivered in time for your wedding. Our box is made from 3.6mm plywood, not MDF, which gives it a beautiful natural wood grain. If you prefer to paint it, we recommend using a water-based paint & applying a coat of primer first if you don't want the wood grain to show through. The box has two front slots for displaying dates, names, & other information. We supply the box naturally as seen in the photos. We offer the inserts for the front panels to be ordered at the same time for a slightly discounted rate as we can combine the postage & design in 1 go. These inserts are offered in either, Black & White, Full Colour, Gold Leaf or Silver Leaf & finally metallic Silver paper with black text. Please email for photos or contact us after purchase to confirm what design insert you would like :-) If no specific request is made, we will make the box with the "E&R" design & Post Office at the top. Please note that we cannot accept returns on customized products, as they cannot be resold. However, if your box arrives damaged, we will gladly fix the issue. The padlock hole size is 5mm. We recommend using a two-part glue with activator, such as Mitre Bond, for best results. Any wood glue will work, but Mitre Bond dries clear & hardens in just 10 seconds. The box is supplied as a diy self build kit. You will require glue.
