This Kentucky Derby themed horse is handmade & handcut in Louisville, KY just a few miles away from Churchill downs! Each Kentucky bourbon barrel stave is handcut & adhered to a black plywood backing. No stains are used in this piece, rather the natural colors of browns & blacks from the aged barrels make it pop. These are sealed with a natural clear polyurethane that is weather proof. The roses are red oak with engraving & resin & are adhered to the front of the horses.
