This is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee while sitting outside enjoying the bucolic view. Could it get any better with views of the Sakonnet River, sun shining brightly & the best coffee/Tea/Smoothies/Frozen hot chocolate around! The staff is so friendly & helpful. Everything is so delicious. As a bonus, you are supporting a small local business. Coastal Roasters was founded in January 2009 & has been serving & satisfying customers ever since. Oh how, I enjoy grabbing a cup of coffee & taking a short walk over to Grinnells Beach to watch from the pier the boats, incredible view of Sakonnet Bridge, ocean birds & an occasional winter seal on Mount Hope Bay. PS: The Sakonnet River is part of Mount Hope Bay which separates Aquidneck Island from the East side of RI for the towns of Tiverton & Little Compton. MacGregor, Jr. was born in Medfield, MA, the son & grandson of Norfolk Hunt Club kennel masters. Many of his family members were self-taught artists, woodcarvers, automobile mechanics & veterans of foreign wars including his father a WW1 US Army veteran. Bill is a graduate of Medfield High School, Wentworth Institute, & Northeastern University. His engineering career, from which he is now retired, included working for military & aerospace companies in industrial engineering & IR optics. His painting incorporates "old skool" mechanical & civil drafting tools & he uses a mixed medium of watercolors, acrylics & inks. Two rabbits are often in quite a few of his paintings. Look for them.
