Chinese Imperial Jingdezhen Porcelain Plate "Beauties of the Red Mansion" Yuan Chun 1986 Second Plate in the Beauties of the Red Mansion collection of limited edition plates by Master Artisan Zhao Huimin created with precious metal pigment for vibrant, lasting color.
 This decorative porcelain plate depicts Yuan-chun who is wearing elaborately embroidered court robes. She was chosen 'Lady' in the palace because of her goodness, filial piety, & talents. 
The dream of Red Mansions was written in the Years between 1755 & 1790 by Tsao Hsueh-chin & was a satire of imperial feudal favoritism revealing accurate insiders contemporary portrait of access privilege power & Corruption among China's feudal ruling classes. Comes as it is, without an original box. Great vintage condition.
