Beautiful Judaica handmade Pottery Simcha (Happiness) Candles Plate with 2 Hamsa tea light candle holders. This set of candle holders, & a plate was made with love in my studio. I used a hand-building technique to form the plate & holders. I pressed the word Simcha (Happiness in Hebrew) on the wet clay. When the set dried, I bisque fired it first, then I brushed the pieces with stoneware glazes & returned it to the kiln for a second firing on a high fire temperature. The base plate is signed by me on the bottom. This set will be the perfect housewarming gift, Hanukkah gift, Jewish wedding gift or a bat mitzvah gift for someone you love. It will be a great addition to your home on Friday night as you welcome the Shabbat with lighting candles in this handmade set. Lighting Shabbat candles is the first action welcoming the Shabbat. Lighting the Shabbat Candles is considered a way to install the light of the Torah into our home. The first thing that happened on creation is light, & that is the first thing we do before Shabbat starts. This set is a perfect way to glorify the mitzvah (commandment) of lightning Shabbat, & holidays (Yom Tov) candles. It is easy to use & stays clear from wax. You may hand wash it with water & soap.
