This is a super rare World War II plastic pin depicting the distinctive insignia for the United States Army 486th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. The 486th served in parts of Europe during the war, & was the first Allied anti-aircraft unit to enter Germany in World War II, & the first to shoot down an enemy aircraft from German soil. The pin is in yellow, black & red plastic, & reads "AAA" "486" "SPEARHEAD". Based on my research, they made these in theater & they are extremely rare. Approximately 1-3/8" high x 1" wide.
