An 18th century, hand colored copper plate engraving on laid paper of a European military camp, engraved & printed by Georg Balthasar Probst (German 1732-1801). There is an inked script phrase in Dutch that was written later in front of the captions. This engraving came from a book. The measurements between the plate marks are 12 3/4 H x 17 W inches. CONDITION: Some wrinkling of the paper near the top. Light soiling & a few stains. Small chips in the frame's black enamel. The back tape along the frame has torn around the frame edge.
