Great gift for anyone who enjoys a little local honey in their hot tea. It would look beautiful sitting on the counter in your kitchen. I made this lidded honey jar on the potter's wheel in my Central Kansas studio. This jar comes with a wooden honey stick that fits in the notch cut in the lid. After the first firing I glazed the entire jar in an orchid purple glaze & fired it in my electric kiln to about 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. I applied real gold vintage bee decals & fired the jar a third time. Jar measures 4.75 inches (12.065 cm) tall to top of handle & 4 inches (10.16 cm) in diameter. Due to the gold, do not microwave.
