Set of six plastic circa 1960-1990 Fisher-Price Play Family. Fisher-Price introduced plastic into its toy line in the early 1950s. Plastic lasted longer than wood & allowed brighter colors to be utilized. The Play Family, later known as Little People, was introduced in 1959. Many vintage Little People have names. The seven main figures that made up the basic Play Family line included, Mom, Dad, boys Pee Wee & Butch, girls Patty & Penny, & everyone's favorite, Lucky the dog.
