This is a fantastic 60s vintage "Genuine Johnsons" Boston Bruins hockey shirt! It's made of a breathable jersey knit fabric with broad horizontal yellow, black, & white stripes. This cool athletic shirt is a pullover & has long sleeves & a ribbed V neck. We discovered it in storage in a New England barn & our research shows that this is, indeed, a true Boston Bruins fan's jersey that dates to the 1960s. What a fun find for a Bruins fan! This garment is in very good, freshly laundered, clean condition with no flaws or wear noted. The label reads "Genuine Johnsons Chicago, Ill., L, Wash only use mild soap." Fabric contents are not identified but it's either a polyester or nylon jersey. While it is labeled Large, it was likely originally a Youth size Large, & it actually fits like a Women's Extra Small or Men's XXS. It measures: Chest - 36 inches, Waist - 38 inches, Shoulders - 17 inches, Sleeves - 19 inches, Length - 29 inches. Our model Cassidy is 5'3" tall, her measurements are 32-24-34, & she typically wears a Women's Extra Small.
