- Presented is a one of a kind, sterling silver & natural agate or carnelian gemstone brooch or statement pin. This vintage piece was made in Southeast Asia, most likely Thailand. The brooch is large & definitely an eye-catching piece. The large silver mounting has applied, gold-tone wire decorations. The center is securely bezel set with a pear or tear drop cut carnelian cabachon. The back is marked 925 for sterling silver purity. This piece is in great overall condition. There is a small dent to the 7 o'clock position, but this is only visible if you are holding the piece at a certain angle & inspecting it. The stone is very even in color. There are a lot of reflections in the photographs. This piece would most likely be worn point side down. Dimensions: 1 7/8 by 2 3/8 inches. Weight: 25 grams.
