Beautiful strapless lace brassiere circa 1920s with elastic band. Tag reads: "Lucile" Brassiere. I was able to find mention of this brand in several newspaper advertisements dating from the 1910s to 1920s. One double set of hook & eye closures at the back very similar to a modern bra. Measurements 32" bust (no including ant stretch from the elastic) 6.5" height in the center front Condition Good condition overall, with minor age related wear & a faint stain on the front (I have not tried to remove this). The elastic still has some stretch but in general elastic does not hold up well, so I would not recommend this piece for normal wear. Likely best for study or careful wear for a photo shoot.
