This well made tool chest by Gerstner with the National Cabinet Company label, was made as a students dental instrument case, style #18, according to information on gerstnerusa.com. The National Cabinet Company decal was used during the 1940s & 1950s. This dental tool cabinet has no tools, but is otherwise complete with 10 drawers with metal bottoms, fold down hinged front cover, & 3 trays in the top that have the original labels & slots for tools. It is black leatherette over oak. All the drawers slide in & out, nothing is stuck. The bottom left drawer has a large rust spot in the center, there is no key, & the top handle needs replacing, please look at the photos carefully. Replacement handle, key & drawer bottom can all be purchased from gerstnerusa.com. The cabinet is 16.5" wide x 15" tall x 9.25" depth. It weighs about 21.5 pounds.
