Description

Art Deco Bas-Relief recreation of Rene Paul Chambellan described as Machine Age Man Holding Fire & fraternal mate, Man Holding Sun. The original full-sized objects are found, today in the NYC Chanin Building (Visited often by myself) & represents Chambellan's penchant for festooning lobbies, porticos & facades of early 20th century architecture. Both are as a 5 x 7 x 3/8 inch recreation is cast in either Hydrocal, a very strong & dense form of plaster that accepts acrylic paint well or Jesmonite for extra weight & strength. They can be mounted next to each other on a wall or set on stands on a table or credenza. You can make use of the embedded hanging loops on the back to allow you to place them flush on the wall. Meant for indoor display & would also be nice in a frame of your choice. Painted by hand with Gold pigment powder that is liquified by a master medium & applied in multiple coats with a brush. Please allow two weeks from order. We are offering a 10% discount from the separate purchase when sold in a two item set. Please note: As with any Hydrocal or Jesmonite plaques, small bubbles may occur in the casting process. But not to worry, these become insignificant & practically invisible after finishing & you will love them. Unique Wall Art - Special Pairing Man Holding Sun & Fire Both As 5x7 Inch Tiles
