Stunning Art Nouveau brooch pin is witty rendition of the folded vault of heaven or firmament with Man in the moon, stars as flowers, & even area of patched heaven. The brooch is made of brass with heaven fabric hammered & textured. The melancholy face of the man in the moon glitters with red garnet eyes. The star flowers scattered on the sky. The "patch" is made of mesh attached from the back. The brooch is large 76 mm wide 56 mm high. C clasp is on the back. Excellent antique condition. Antique jewelry box shown for display only.
