This is a lovely, unique dark red to purple Titanium Druzy or Drusy round cabochon. Metallic polished sides, lots of sparkling crystals. Bottom side is light gray, natural, shaped, not polished. A few rough spots, tape residue, nothing major. Size: 21.8mm, 23.35 carats Reference Number: 086-17-021 Notes on Druzy... These items were made for my shop some years ago. The titanium coating, if applies, is a nice thick layering process. It is not one of the newer Druzy items with a light coating. Druzy are Quartz crystals, usually growing in Agate. All my Druzy cabochons are from natural stones/formations. Metallic Titanium Druzy are coated. Most all the other colored Druzy are dyed. Treatment is safe & permanent.
