It has locks & latches & other familiar hardware that helps with memory & fine motor skills. The board gadgets enhance hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity & increased muscle strength. A person with Alzheimer's / dementia will occupy their time amusing themselves locking & unlocking the various gadgets on the board. All the hardware is installed securely & safely on the board. The Busy Board is easy to take with you when traveling, whether a car, bus, train or plane. While the board is an excellent source of sensory stimulation it most importantly puts the dementia user in control of their personal environment. They do not need to be supervised or entertained externally.
