Art deco hammered bronze box with wooden inlay. A rare piece of art work Signed: Einar Backstrom Malmø. Very good vintage condition. Height: 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) Width: 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm) Depth: 5 inches (12.5 cm) Einar Bäckström founded a studio in 1918 in Malmo city. He made decorative metal objects & stylish lamps mostly using brass as base material. Sune Bäckström (Einar's younger brother) also designed metal objects for the studio.
