The pictures, even though they are nice, do not do justice to this piece. If you like the photos, you are really going to like what you see when it's in your hand. The color is amazing - bright in spots & subtle in others. The face of this ram or bighorn sheep has almost a tie-dye look & his big rounded horns are brown with elements of red, black & orange mixed through. Some people see those horns & think this is a fierce animal, but it is really just an herbivore that dines on grasses, clover & willow. This guy, in no way shape or form, looks fierce. It gives you more of happy, gentle vibe. There is a makers mark on the bottom (an "S" in a circle) but we have not been able to identify the artist or manufacturer. For anybody that collects animal figures, this is just right. Its glossy surface & vibrant color will draw your eye to it. The other thing this has going for it is its uniqueness, a trait we absolutely love.
