From a distance it appears to be many tiny brush strokes reproducing Claude Monet's Woman with Parasol (Facing Left). But upon closer examination you'll find it is made of hundreds, maybe thousands, of tiny slivers of colored paper! A truly unique mosaic! This paper mosaic is framed in a gold-colored frame behind glass. The frame has quite a bit of scuffing. The piece has a large gray mat. It has a wooden backing & is stamped with a Singapore business name & location. Overall framed piece measures about 15" wide x 19" tall. Mosaic portion measures about 6-1/4" wide x 10" tall. Actual coloring may vary slightly due to lighting, camera & monitor settings. Please Note: All of the items that I sell in my shop are vintage items. By Etsy's standards, items that are at least 20 years old are considered vintage. I source items from local estate sales, thrift shops & garage sales. I am not an expert on the history of any items I source, so I do online research to try to learn more about their history. The description in my listings represents what I have learned about the items through online research. Some items are hard to date to a specific year. If my research leads me to believe that the item is from the early 2000's or earlier, I list it & classify it as vintage. Vintage items are all pre-owned. As such, they have varying signs of use. I strive to honestly represent my items, so will do my best to detail major condition issues & try to show them in the photos. However, buyers should anticipate all items showing signs of former use, which may include but is not limited to stains, tears, scuffs, chips, missing embellishments, prior repairs & general wear & tear.
