This would make a nice gift for the teacher's desk & came from the 80s. The whimsical piece has 3 books that have reading, math, & spelling hand written on them & 6 holes on top to store pens or pencils. There is also an apple with one space for a pen or pencil with a pencil shaped clothespin that will hold notes or a picture. The base has inches marked but are not exact. It is stamped with The Country Pig on the base.
