Black silk & lace Victorian-style blouse by Valerie Porr. Valerie Porr designed a line of bohemian clothing during the 1970s & early '80s for her boutique in Soho & high-end retailers. Beautiful boho blouse features a deep ruffled collar, sheer lace yoke (front & back), & gathered balloon sleeves with a victorian style deep cuff. The blouse has bust darts. It buttons down the back & the cuffs close with small snaps. I believe the body of the blouse is made of silk although it is not marked. The lace sleeves are a combination of black & dark brown. Label reads "Valerie Porr Couture". The size is unmarked. Measurements: Bust: 36" Waist: 34" Hip: 36" Sleeve: 26" Back of neck to hem: 25" It is in very nice condition. The brown in the lace has brightened a bit, a variation on underarm staining. For reference, it is photographed on a dress form which measures 33.5 / 25.5 / 33.5 & is not pinned for the photos.
