Players (or teams of players) attempt to capture as many rectangles as possible by solving different types of word puzzles in each of 8 different categories. Puzzle types listed on the game box are: word riddles, letter scrambles, last word clues, missing words, most common completions, significant number clues, names in common, & missing consonants. This is a rare one, so a perfect addition for any collector of vintage game. The box top of this SKULL SESSIONS word game is affixed with a gold award label claiming it is "AMERICA's PUZZLING GAME SENSATION". From T.M.D. Co trademarked & dated 1989, I have been hard pressed to find much info on this game. But it looks challenging & a must for those who love puzzles! This hard-to-find game is complete in the original box. Game include 4 pads of identical SKULL SESSIONS sheets, 4 pencils, instruction pamphlet, & the solution booklet all of which appear to be practically new, except for some yellowing on a few pages from age.
