This is a vintage 1950s, sterling silver & Enamel, viking-ship pin/brooch made in Oslo, Norway by the famed, Norwegian, jewelry maker "Ivar Holth". It is marked on the back "925S H (maker's mark) Sterling-Norway". It is made of solid, sterling silver & features a typical, viking ship in full sail. The ship has a serpent bow & is enameled on the front with blue & white enameling. It has a working roll-over clasp. It has been cleaned & is in excellent like-new condition. I don't know why the camera's eye unfortunately insists on portraying the pin wrongly as gold, because trust me it is silver in color & made of solid 925 sterling silver.
