Most little girls from the 60s on remember playing with all kinds of Barbie dolls. This doll has gorgeous, thick, blond hair that cascades nearly down to her waist. What I like about this particular era is the big ULTRA BLUE eyes. Here she also has purple eye shadow, pink lips & a white tooth smile. She is absolutely posable with arms that easily go up & down, a head that turns easily & also poses from side to side & front to back, a waist that swivels side to side & rubber legs that move up & down at the hip, & bend at the knee. She also holds a "splits" pose very well, & is capable of bending all the way forward & all the way backward. I have included a variegated green crocheted skirt & matching scarf, & a Barbie TM short white top with pink & black stripes. Her back is marked "Mattel, Inc 1966 China". She is a beauty! Handler [created the doll] to show little girls that they could be anything they wanted to be. Barbie quickly became a global icon. Her hair is in fairly good condition & full (see photos). The skirt & scarf are hand made (see photo). The skirt has a metal snap at the top back. Measurements: 11.75" high. This is a nice addition to your doll collection.
