What a beautiful postcard this is. Denning's technique is very effective. Princess Victoria is very regally dressed, but her hands, feet & face are softened & rounded. Her little white socks look like they are falling down. Victoria's coat & hat are so sumptuous, but still remind me of how many mothers love to dress their children for special occasions. The painting is very personable yet this child dominates all around her. Size The postcard measures 6 by 4 inches Condition in very good vintage condition, but slight wear to corners.
