Inspired by the Chinese craft of paper cuts or 'jianzhi', I've created metal pins embedded with actual paper cut designs! The paper cut designs feature the Chinese character "Fú" which means fortune or good luck, & the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Each of the jianzhi designs feature the main imagery surrounded by various Chinese motifs. The jianzhi designs are cut out on red (stock) paper & inserted into the pin securely.
