Polymer clay figurine made entirely by hand, without any use of molds. Karagiozis (turkish: Karagöz, which means "Black-eyed") is the main character of turkish traditional shadow theater. Over the centuries, he became part of the greek culture as well, being very popular for more than 150 years. The doll measures approx. 15 cm (5,9"). Recommendations: Polymer clay items are quite flexible so they don't easily break if dropped, but require careful treatment nonetheless. They are not toys so I wouldn't recommend them for children under 7 years old. Avoid exposure to extreme heat or direct sunlight for hours. Do not use solvents, they may ruin the color or the texture. If they become dirty due to ordinary usage you can wash them with cold water & common liquid soap. Notes: Please note that this is a handmade item so it could slightly vary from the one in the photo. The colors may also differ due to your monitor settings.
