Description
This is a large Nine Patch quilt top from the late 1800s. It measures 82"x93". Each block is 6 1/2" square. It features two black on white shirting fabrics for the light tones-one fabric is used only to create the blocks & the other is used for the setting blocks & borders. The "electric" look of the black print is from my favorite fabrics of the era. It is completely hand pieced. There are two spots noted in photos with quarters that are noticeable, but would fall on the drop when the piece is on a bed. Also a few small spots scattered that are not prominent but present. Stored in a pet & odor free environment-no smells. The fabrics are strong, no deterioration noted...it is quiltable. Vintage Nine Patch Quilt Top-Large
