Set of 4 Seventeen Cent Special Delivery stamps with a cancelation from Washington DC on a First Day Cover dated October 30, 1944 also a 3 cent Victory stamp. The envelope has a bicycle riding mail carrier whereas the stamp has a motorcycle riding special delivery carrier. Still took 2 & a half days to get from DC to Philadelphia which is just 140 miles away!
