Up for sale is this beautiful & rare antique ABP brilliant cut glass fan vase by Tuthill. This flared fan vase features a flashed flower on both sides with criss-crossing mitres cut down the sides. Below the flowers are notched prisms & a band of silver diamonds. The stem is completely cut with hexagonal prisms & the base is cut with Tuthill's 16 split point flashed hobstar. It measures just under 12" high, 7 1/2" across the fan, nearly 4" across & the base is nearly 4 1/2" in diameter. Overall the vase is in excellent condition except for a flake chip & fleabite on the criss-crossing mitres & a tiny chip on the ring just above the hexagonal prism stem (see photos).
