Saint Zoe Orthodox icon Available in: Medium size - 10cm x 13.5cm / 3.93inches x 5.31inches All icons are made of MDF wood (solid pressed wood). Once the base is cut to size, it undergoes a preparation by hand so the surface of the wood is well-prepared to hold the mounted print. Our theme prints are high quality replicas of an original hierography. Finally, finishing touches are applied with a dark brown color around the icon borders & backside. Each icon is inspected for quality assurance. Her feast day is July 5. Saint Zoe of Rome was a noblewoman married to a top Roman jurist, who was also the jailer of Saint Sebastian. Saint Zoe was mute for 6 years, but had her voice restored when st Sebastian made the Sign of the Cross on her forehead.
