This base is one of my favorites. It is extremely soft yet has a little body. It's easy to spin, having just enough tooth to not slip through your fingers, & the staple length is just right. It's also a favorite of wet & nuno felters. Polwarth wool combed top. This batch is SUPER soft, my supplier says 21-24 microns, it's definitely down towards 21 microns. So yummy!! A lovely spin, skin friendly & easy drafting. Bluefaced Leicester wool combed top. Shiny, with a longer staple than Merino, BFL is the softest of the longwools & a favorite of many spinners. Easy to draft, with a wonderful drape to the yarn & fabric it creates.
