Art glass relief or shallow bowls designed by Erik Hoglund (1932-98) for Kosta Boda, Sweden. Cast yellow glass depicting people.. Excellent Vintage condition. Left: Measures: 2.7 x 2.7 x 1 inches (7 x 7 x 2½ cm) Right: Measures: 4 x 3½ x 1 inches (10.5 x 9 x 2½ cm) Erik Hoglund (1932-1998) is best known as a glass artist, but Hoglund was also a painter, a sculptor & a designer, he has designed furniture & ceramics. in the period 1953-1973 Hoglund worked for Boda Glassworks, he was an innovator of Swedish glass art with his rustic pieces. Hoglund is particularly known for his forged candlesticks & chandeliers with glass pendants. in the late 1970s he worked for a number of glass works: Pukeberg, glass studios in Åhus, Transjö, & Strömbergshyttan.
