Offered for sale is one real Tailed Jay butterfly, Graphium agamemnon, mounted (spread) & framed in a Riker mount case that is 4x5x3/4." The picture of the mounted (spread) butterfly is for reference only. Yours will look similar. However, there may be small differences in color & size as each insect is unique. These butterflies are in A1 condition (perfect). PLEASE NOTE: a Riker mount display case is NOT the same as a shadowbox frame. It is made of extra heavy chipboard construction with a black leatherette cover, & polyester filling for cushioning. The glass topped lid is held in place with extra heavy duty, non-rusting pins that are inserted into the longest side of the display. The pins & lid can be easily removed. The butterfly is not glued into place, & can be removed from the case or repositioned if desired. A riker mount offers added protection to the insect due to its design. It's also easily stackable for storage. A sawtooth hanger will be provided if you wish to hang it on the wall. If you have any questions or would like additional pictures, please send a message.
