This listing is for a remarkable, vintage, original oil on canvas, Impressionism style, set of four, seasons of the year, framed landscape paintings. These four oil on canvas paintings are rare & stunning. Each of the paintings represents a different pastoral season. The rich, muted colors of the paintings are representative of the classic impressionism style including the raised, thick oil paints which give each piece a three dimensional feeling. Summer consists of green leaves & lush green valleys. Fall features pastel color leaves. Spring (our favorite) has blooming green trees & pink blossoms & finally, winter shows the white blankets of snow contrasted against brilliant blue skies. Each painting is framed in a light color wood. The age of these lovely paintings are authenticated by the fact that some of the works were actually painted on the back of old canvas pictures.
