Description
Each railroad spike has been hand selected, reclaimed from the railroad after years of use & being deemed unworthy for further use. Upon being discarded the spikes are carefully reclaimed & repurposed to bring you these one of a kind handrail brackets. With an overall standoff from the wall at 4 1/4", these brackets allow a 2 1/2" wide rail to be installed while still leaving ample clearance between the wall & an intended users hands when utilizing the handrail mounted upon these brackets. The hole for mounting is countersunk on both ends, allowing for installation of the bracket with either the railroad spike head facing up, or downwards. Custom lengths available upon request. Sold as an individual (1) bracket. Mounting hardware included for mounting to solid wood backing (such as a stud behind drywall) as well as hardware included to secure a wooden railing (similar to what is pictured) to the bracket.
