This handmade Seder plate was made with love in my studio. It was formed using hand building technique & was fired first to bisque in my studio kiln, then brushed by hand with layers of my favorite glazes, & finally it was fired again but this time, to 2250 degrees Fahrenheit. The plate & dishes are made of stoneware clay & glazes. The clay & glazes are food safe & lead free. The vibrant colors of the glazes will last forever. The plate is signed by me on the bottom. The set includes 6 dishes for the symbols of Passover, & a plate with the word Passover in Hebrew. Passover is one of the most important holidays in the Jewish calendar. It symbolizes freedom, spring, miracles, & the birth of the nation of Israel. Jews all around the world gather around the table for a festive meal with Matzah, & six symbolic foods that helps telling the story of Exodus.
