Description

Honorable John Millard Tawes (April 8, 1894 - June 25, 1979) was an American politician & a member of the Democratic Party who was the 54th Governor of Maryland from 1959 to 1967. He remains the only Marylander to be elected to the three positions of State Treasurer, Controller, & Governor. Here, for your consideration, is the Honorable John Millard Tawes Resistol, Open Road style fedora in a beautiful taupe color. It's still in the original box. Fedora felt appears to be free of any visible damage. Sweatband is still supple & original care instructions are still attached. Windcatch has a small stain, but other than that, it is a gorgeous hat. Please note that hat circumference measures out to size 7. This is due to hat being stored many years. Would just require a little stretch to get back to 7 1/8. Please view pictures as they are part of the description. Manufacturer labels reads: Self Conforming, Resistol, designed by Harry Rolnick for Honorable J Millard Tawes. Marked & tagged 7 1/8. Please note: Box shows evidence of wear & a few repairs. Hat can be shipped without the original box to save on shipping. HAT BLOCK/MANNEQUIN NOT INCLUDED Questions are welcomed. Buyer pays all related priority shipping costs & insurance. All Sales Final ~ No Returns. Thank you, CityVintage Vintage ~ Men's Resistol Unworn Governor's Fedora Nos Honorable J. Millard Tawes Deadstock Must See
